Top Features in Newly Launched Android Jelly Bean OS

Google announced the latest version of Android last month, at their Google I/O conference. The wait is finally over! Google announced that it would begin rolling out the latest version starting yesterday. The first devices to get updates are those with the Galaxy Nexus HSPA+, according to a Google+ article.

Google has really done their research in understanding what about Android devices is frustrating to users, and then correcting them. Here are the latest and greatest features that Android Jelly Bean has to offer.

Project Butter

This is Google's new Android initiative to make the OS smoother. Essentially it will help the devices run more efficiantly as well as save battery power.

Offline Google Maps

With this new feature you no longer have to worry about losing your network connnection on your road trip. You can now select an area of a Google map and save it your device.

Google Voice Search

Apple has Siri and has been ahead in terms of voice activated OS. Now Android users can use Google Voice Search as their own "pocket" assistant.

Smarter Notification System

Jelly Bean has really improved the Notification process, allowing you to easily get to emails and apps much more intuitively.

Sports Fans Rejoice

You can now enjoy the latest news and game info on all your favorite sports teams.

Of course there are many many more features, but overall some pretty cool features for Android.
