CMS Expo 2012 app brings attendees information at their fingertips

EVANSTON, IL - Leading the way in Content Management System conferences, CMS Expo launched a brand new iPhone and iPad app built by app development and tech firm Crew Designs. The app showcases the fastest way to find information about the conference. Giving users and attendees access to the latest updates, news, and scheduling info during the event.

For the CMS Expo's 6th annual conference, users are able to get conference info on the go. With a unique user interface that is easy to navigate and simple to use, attendees can find information quickly.

Using a unique approach to integration, a REST API platform was built on top of the current CMS Expo's website. Using an API provided a simple and fast solution to get data from the website to the app. The integration made updating information on the app a seamless process that used the systems that were already in place.

Users had in their hand access to the entire schedule as well as information about each listed session. Twitter integration was also handy to find out the latest news from @CMSExpo. The ability to browse through speakers helped attendees to decide which sessions to attend.
